  • Engine Model Number

    The model number of a Honda engine is printed on a sticker located on the engine cover or recoil assembly housing. All Honda engines model numbers start with "G", such as "G100, "GX610", or "GXV160". For some engines, you may also need to locate the serial number, which is normally stamped on the side of the engine.

  • Engine Type Code

    The engine type code is stamped on the side of the engine near the serial number. The code consists of 4 characters, sometimes as asteriks (eg. QX** is a QX type engine).

  • Engine Serial Number

    The serial number of a Honda engine is also stamped on the side of the engine. They have a 4 or 5 letter prefix, followed by a 7 digit number (eg. GCASK - 1005447).

  • Model Name & Serial Number

    The model name and serial number of a Honda lawn mower is located on a metal plate on the back of the deck, behind the engine. For example:

    • Model: HRR216VKA
    • Serial No: MAAA-1033326
  • Model Name

    The model name of a Honda generator is printed on the side of the unit near the case, fuel tank, or control panel. Each model name has a prefix starting with the letter "E" (EU2000i, EB5000, EG5000).

  • Serial Number

    The serial number sticker is typically located on the bottom support frame of Honda portable generators. The serial number on the handheld EU series generators is located in the lower corner of the side cover.

    Look at the back of the mower's frame

    Honda riding mowers may also have the serial number located on the back of the mower's frame (HA4118, HA4120, H3013), or beneath the hood on the left side of the frame (H2013, H2113).

  • Model Name & Serial Number

    The model name and frame serial number locations can vary depending on the type of model you own. The model name is often printed on the side of the engine hood or above the rear wheels. The serial number sticker is often located on the right front side of the frame (H6522, H4013, H4514, H4518, HT3810, HT4213, HT-R3811, H5013, H5518, RT5000)

    For the H1011, the serial number can be found near the base of the oil tube. The model name is printed above the rear wheel well.

  • Model Name & Serial Number (Two Stage)

    The model name of a Honda single stage snow blower is printed on top of the unit. The serial number tag of a Honda two stage snow blower is located on the back of the frame between the tracks or wheels.

    The model name of a Honda single stage snow blower is printed on top of the unit. The serial number tag of a Honda single stage snow blower is located on the rear axle of the snow blower.

    The model and serial number is located on a sticker on the right side of the upper or lower frame.

    The model and serial number is located on a sticker on the debris shield behind the engine. The model name of a Honda trimmer is located on the shaft (eg. HHT25S).

  • Model Name

    The model name of a Honda water pump is usually located on the fuel tank or recoil starter of the engine.The model name has a prefix that starts with "W" such as WD30, WX15 or WDP30.

Husqvarna

  • Husqvarna Model and Serial Number Locations

    The model number system includes a model number, an engine type number, and a code number that can be found on a metal plate attached to your engine or stamped directly on the engine.

    1. Above the oil fill cap.
    2. Below the oil fill cap.
    3. Under the handle on the clutch side.
    4. In front of the clutch at the bottom, below the bar nuts.

    On the plate, the top number is the model number, the second is the part number, and the bottom number is the serial number. For example:

    • Model Number: 455
    • Part Number: 965030298
    Model, Part and Serial Number

    The model number of a Husqvarna lawn tractor is typically printed on a decal located on both sides of the hood. (eg. YTH23V48). The model number, part number, and serial number is printed on a sticker located on the frame under the operator's seat. Lift the seat forward to access the sticker.

  • Model Name & Serial Number (Two Stage)

    The model number of a Husqvarna trimmer or brushcutter is printed on the back of the recoil assembly. (eg. 128LD). The model, part, and serial number can printed on a sticker on the base of the trimmer. The model, part, and serial number can also be stamped onto a plate on the base of the trimmer. For example:

    • Model Number: 128LD
    • Part Number: 952711948
    • Serial Number: 12040N100806
  • ZAMA Carburetors

    Examine the sides of your Zama carburetor to locate the model number. On one side, you'll usually see one letter followed by one number followed by another letter. On the other side, there's usually one letter followed by one or two numbers followed by another letter.

    WALBRO Carburetors

    Examine the side of your Walbro carburetor to locate the model number. The number is usually two letters followed by two or three numbers (i.e. WT451).

    TILLOTSON Carburetors

    Your carburetor’s model will be printed or stamped in one or more places on the body. You’re looking for a two letter model type (HU, HE, HS, HL, HR, HT, HD, HW, HO, WO, WB, TC) and a 1-3 digit number that will usually be followed by a letter and another three or four digit number. You need the model type (which is sometimes cast into the body separate from the model number), the 1-3 digit model number and the letter. You don’t need the numbers that follow the letter; those are just date code for the carburetor. Here’s an example of what you’re looking for:
